June 25, 2024

This private, in-person event co-sponsored by Organización Editorial Mexicana (OEM) and hosted at their headquarters in Mexico City, Mexico addressed the physical and digital threats that journalists are facing, ways technology can help protect journalists and the impacts of government policies and of global connectedness. The conversation looked at what’s happened and where we are, and considered concrete steps that could be taken to protect journalists and journalism in Mexico and other areas of Latin America. A public summary report will be published after the convening on CNTI’s website.
