
Andrea Vega Yudico
Outreach and Policy Intern, CNTI
Andrea Vega Yudico is the Policy and Outreach Intern for the Center for News, Technology & Innovation. Prior to joining CNTI, she worked at the Center for International Media Assistance at the National Endowment for Democracy, where she coordinated strategic partnerships and consultations on media development and digital governance.
Andrea is also a former journalist who covered the White House and the 2020 presidential election as a producer for NHK Japan Broadcasting, where she followed key developments in national security and foreign policy from Washington D.C. Andrea has advocated for press freedom and human rights during her time with Reporters Without Borders (RSF) at its East Asian bureau in Taiwan.
Andrea is currently pursuing a Master of International Affairs at Columbia University with a concentration in Economic and Political Development and a specialization in Technology, Media and Communications. She holds bachelor’s degrees in International Studies and Journalism from Indiana University, where she currently serves as a member of the Hamilton Lugar School’s Emerging Leaders Council and an advisory board member for the Center for International Media Law and Policy Studies.
